In the book of Jonah, God calls on one of His prophets and tells him to travel to a foreign land and preach to a foreign group of a people. A group that was actually Israel’s enemies! Jonah sent God to voicemail. We shouldn’t do the same thing.

We may want to lose weight, exercise more, spend less time watching TV and more time studying Scripture. While we often want to change something about ourselves, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

The King Who Brought Christmas
