The God who was faithful to Abraham is the same God who is faithful to save us through Jesus Christ. Sin was brought into the world through the disobedience of Adam; God’s gift was brought into the world through the obedience of Jesus. Abraham believed God, and because of that he was made right with God- the same is true for us today.

From the beginning God took the initiative and provided a way for us to be right with HIm. He graciously redeems us when we put our faith in Jesus who gave his life for us. Since our salvation is a free gift from God and not something we can earn, we have no room to boast.

Hannah was a woman of God. While she had every opportunity to give up on God, her faithfulness shown through her prayer life. God heard her prayer and answered by giving her the son she had always prayed for. She dedicated that son to God.
