Jesus calls us to be His disciples. He doesn’t want fans, those that stand on the sidelines and cheer the others on. Jesus calls us to be on the field, in the mix, and involved in the work of the church.

Jesus’s passion climaxed during the Passover weekend. He suffered torture at the hands of his accusers and went to the cross on Friday. His disciples mourned over His tomb on Saturday. On Sunday they celebrated His triumph over sin and death at the resurrection.
